Red letter day for well-posted school.
Pupils win top prize
By Richard Simpson A VILLAGE school with just 48 pupils has scooped first prize in a Post-office competition and a cheque for £1,000. More than 50 primary schools from Gwynedd, Clwyd and Chester took part in the Postcode Competition, but it was Aberffraw Primary School in Anglesey that took top prize. The money will be used to buy be used to buy software for the micro-computer at the school. Headmaster Mr. Arwel Hughes added: "We will now be able to buy some of the luxuries for the school that otherwise would have been out of the question." The children at the school won first prize because they collected more letters without a postcode per head than any other school.
