The Chronicle, June 14 1973 Friends and Neighbours of AberffrawMrs. Sarah Hughes, of 15 Bro Bronwyn, Aberffraw: "We've nothing to complain about here. I like all my neighbours”. Mrs. Hughes has two sons and two daughters, all of whom are married. She is a keen football fan and supports Leeds—when she is not supporting the local team. Mrs. Jane Williams, who lives at Tyddyn Traeth, Church Street, Aberffraw, was born in the village. “ We're all neighbours here", she says. "Everybody knows everybody". Mrs. Hughes, who was one of a family of 13 children, has a daughter, who is now the cook at the Aberffraw primary school. Miss Jane Williams of 46 Church. Street: "The village has changed a lot but the people are as friendly as they always were”. Miss Williams was the cook at the Primary school for 27 years.She thinks young people enjoy themselves differently now. “There are a lot of dances, but they don’t. dance”, she says. Miss Williams enjoys watching television, particularly wrestling. Mrs. Jane Jones of 47 Church Street moved to Aberffraw from Caergeiliog 36 years ago, after getting married: “It’s a lovely place to live because everyone cares about everyone else", she says. Mrs. Jones enjoys whist drives and Bingo occasionally. She has four children—two boys and two girls – who are all married. Mrs. Grace Pritchard of Bod Feurig Farm : “We're Iike one big happy family here”. "I was born here and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else". Mrs. Pritchard plays the organ at Aberffraw Church. Mrs. Hannah Jones, of 51 Church Street: “My neighbours are all my friends - we're all very close. There are a lot of new houses here – the village was better before. I wouldn't like to see any more changes". Mrs. Jones, who enjoys watching television, was born in the village and has two sons and a daughter.  Friends and Neighbours of Aberffraw
