A cheque for £760 was raised by Sandra Owen, family and friends for Manchester Royal Infirmary cardiac intensive care unit in appreciation of the care received by her teenage son Keiron who died six years ago.
Most of the sum was raised by a raffle of items donated by family, friends and local businesses, and was supplemented by half the proceeds of an evening with Wil Tan in Y Goron, Aberffraw.

“I’d like to thank everyone for donating to the raffle and supporting the evening, especially Kevin Jones, licensee of Y Goron,” said Sandra.
“So many people from North Wales receive excellent treatment at the Manchester Royal Infirmary, who were brilliant with Keiron.”
Sandra is now planning a sponsored walk and treasure hunt to raise further funds.
