About Aberffraw Football Club
The club was reformed in 2008. Most players are from the village and a couple from the surrounding villages. It all started with a few lads going to play 5-a-side in Llangefni every week and soon developed into entering a team in the North Gwynedd & Anglesey Sunday League. Aberffraw currently play in Cae Cob in Malltraeth where Glantraeth Juniors are based. The club is very proud that we have been sponsored by Trac Mon/ Anglesey Circuit who have supplied our new kits.

Team Details
Gerallt Roberts – Manager/Player – Defence
DOB - Gerallt took over as manager after two games at the start of the season, he plays as centre back, Gerallt also plays for Llanerch-y-medd which are in the ‘Anglesey League’.
Robert Walker – Goal
DOB – 1/12.82 - Rob is the first choice keeper, he works for J. Ellis Williams in Rhosneigr as a brick layer.
Gareth ‘Chief’ Hughes – Defence/ midfield/goal
DOB – 28/9/82 - Gareth can play anywhere on the filed, he will get stuck in wherever he is played, currently works for VT Aerospace in RAF Valley.
Mark “Chivs” Owen – Defence
DOB - 30/12/84 - Mark plays in defence, he is a qualified plumber and currently works for ‘Byw Bywyd’ in Gaerwen.
Geraint ‘Chutney’ Jones – Defence/midfield
DOB - Geraint is a full back but can also play in midfield, he is currently a self employed roofer.
Terry ‘Gizzmo’ Walker - Defence
DOB – 14/10/84 - Terry is a full back, he is a qualified plasterer and currently works for ‘Evan A Owen’ in Rhosneigr.
David Williams – Defence
DOB – David is a full back but can play up front, currently works as a stone mason.
Iwan Roberts – Midfield
DOB – Iwan usually plays right side of midfield but can play in centre mid, Iwan is currently in Coleg Menai studying mechanical engineering.
Craig ‘Chivs’ Owen – Midfield
DOB - 20/8/88 – Craig is a left sided midfielder, currently works in IT in Bangor.
John ‘Pali’ Owen – Midfield
DOB – John plays in centre midfield, he works at Grampian Prepared Meats in Llangefni, John is also vice captain.
Alan ‘Al Bach’ Williams - Midfield
DOB - 19/8/85 - Alan plays in centre midfield, he is a commercial diver, and Alan is the club captain.
James Williams – Midfield/forward
DOB – James can play right midfield or up front.
Barry ‘Sparrow’ Jones – Forward
DOB – 4/4/83 - Barry plays up front, he currently works for Verdant as a rapid response technician.
Gavin ‘Gav Bach’ Roberts – Forward
DOB – Gavin plays up front, he currently works for Anglesey Aluminium in Holyhead.
Alan ‘Talcs’ Jones - Forward
DOB – Alan is a forward but can play in most places on the field.
Douglas Fowlie – Forward
DOB – Douglas is a forward and isn’t afraid of making a nuisance of himself up front.
Darren ‘Daz’ Meredith – Forward
DOB – 8/4/81 - Darren plays up front, works as a ‘goods inwards manager’ in Bangor.
